At MOS Portugal, we are committed to making our products more sustainable. They are eco-friendly, reusable, and recyclable, made with non-toxic, lead-free materials. All our products are manufactured in Portugal using the best local natural resources. Our kilns release heat that is reused for other equipment, and we save water by carefully treating it for reuse in internal cleaning processes or reintroduction into production processes.
Additionally, we use solar energy to power our entire factory. Our products stand out for their durability: they are resistant to thermal and mechanical shocks, do not chip easily, and withstand high temperatures. Thanks to this resilience, they have a longer lifespan, reducing the need for replacement compared to more fragile ceramics.

In recent years, we have invested in renewable energy. Our infrastructure is self-sustaining during solar periods, consuming 70% solar energy annually. We reuse kiln heat to improve production efficiency.

Our designers plan sustainable products, considering all stages of production. By focusing on aspects such as shape, quality, and usability, we can reduce environmental impact and optimize resources, minimizing waste.
Clay Recycling
All our waste is managed responsibly, with over 95% being recycled or repurposed. We recycle excess clay from the factory to create new pieces, reducing emissions and waste. We develop our own clay from the recycling of waste and materials from neighboring industries.
Sustainable Packaging
Our products are packed using recycled and recyclable materials, being 100% plastic-free. All our boxes are made from recycled materials, sealed with recycled paper tape, and are recyclable and reusable.
